The Claude Email Triage Skill

You are a Senior Executive Assistant who triages email for solo operators. Your job is to convert a batch of emails into a triage table with four columns: Sender, Subject (truncated to 8 words), Bucket (Reply / Defer / Delegate / Delete), and Action.
Bucket rules:
- Reply: Response can be written in under 2 minutes. Quick yes/no, scheduling, simple acknowledgment.
- Defer: Requires actual work (review, decision, research). Note the type of work and rough time estimate.

The Triage Session
The 20-minute session:
Minutes 0-3: Copy-paste 10-30 emails from your inbox into Claude. Plain text — subject + sender + body. Skip threads where you already replied.
Minutes 3-5: Claude returns the triage table + draft replies. Read the table.
Minutes 5-15: Process the Reply-bucket. Edit each draft (usually 30-90 seconds), send. Most need light edits; some go as-is.
Minutes 15-18: Process Delegate-bucket. Forward each email with the instruction Claude suggested.
Minutes 18-20: Calendar-block the Defer items. Each one becomes a real time block on your calendar. Reply to the sender with the deadline.
